1. About these terms
This website and the services described on it are offered by Splash Publication, a partnership firm registered in Maharashtra, India (GSTIN 27ACSFS6751L1Z7), with its registered office at Floor 4, 4 Mitra Kunj, Dr Gopalrao Deshmukh Marg, Cumballa Hill, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400026, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website, booking a consultation or paying for any service, you agree to these terms. If a student is under 18, a parent or guardian must accept these terms on the student's behalf.
2. Our services
We provide educational guidance and advisory services: career counselling, psychometric assessment, university selection, admissions and application guidance, essay and document review, profile-building mentorship, test planning, and scholarship and pre-departure guidance. The scope of any programme beyond the initial consultation is set out in writing before you pay for it.
3. No guarantee of outcomes
Decisions on admission, scholarships, financial aid, test scores and visas are made by universities, testing agencies and governments, not by us. We do not guarantee any outcome, and our fees are not linked to any outcome. We are not a visa or immigration agent; any visa-related help is limited to guidance on documents and checklists.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate and complete information, including academic records and test scores.
- Make sure that every essay and application you submit is your own work. We guide and edit, but we do not write applications on a student's behalf, and we will not take part in submitting false information.
- Meet the deadlines we agree with you and keep us informed of any changes.
- Pay third-party costs directly, such as university application fees, test registration fees, courier charges and visa fees. These are not included in our fees.
5. Fees and payment
Fees are as published on this website or as quoted to you in writing, in Indian Rupees. GST is charged at the applicable rate, currently 18%. Fees are payable in advance, online through our payment gateway (card, UPI or net banking) or by bank transfer. A GST invoice is issued for every payment. A consultation slot is confirmed only once payment has been received.
6. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Sessions
Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. If you join late, the session still ends at the scheduled time. With your consent, we may record a session so that we can prepare accurate notes for you; recordings are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Confidentiality
We keep the information you share with us confidential and use it only to provide our services, except where you ask us to share it (for example with a university) or where the law requires us to disclose it.
9. Our materials
Reports, roadmaps, guides and other materials we provide are for your personal use. Please do not copy, publish or resell them without our written permission.
10. Ending the engagement
We may stop providing services if fees remain unpaid, if false or fabricated information is submitted, or if a student or family behaves abusively towards our team. Fees already paid for work done are not refundable in these cases.
11. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service. We are not liable for decisions or actions of universities, testing agencies, governments or other third parties, or for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Services already paid for are governed by the terms in force when you paid.
